What is Certik Skynet?
CertiK Skynet is a security plus data 24/7 active-monitoring platform that detects and protects blockchains against sophisticated attacks. Skynet leverages automated technologies to check deployed smart contracts for vulnerabilities, analyzing metrics such as the number of transactions interacting with a protocol and the number of discrete users. This data can provide a wealth of information that paints a specific picture of a platform’s growth and functioning over time.
With its security intelligence engine running 24/7, CertiK Skynet provides an accurate risk score that anyone can view in the CertiK Security Leaderboard. Individual traders and investors can make use of the information that Skynet provides to monitor platforms and projects in which they have invested in.
How is NodeReal Helping?
NodeReal has partnered with CertiK Skynet to help utilize on-chain data in providing actionable security insights. However, to get real-time access to the latest blockchain and archive data on high-speed blockchains like BNB Chain, Polygon, and others is very challenging.
NodeReal’s MegaNode has introduced an innovative solution. The MegaNode product provides both HTTPS and WebSockets access points, depending on different needs. After a connection is established, a coordinator will distribute the API calls to the core service based on the RPC method. MegaNode built these common RPC methods as part of its core service to allow for quick responses, in less than 20ms on the 90th percentile of all MegaNode requests.
MegaNode is a multi-chain platform that has built several nodes on BNB Chain and Ethereum, through its Chain Management service. Once created, the application can switch to another Chain in just a split second.
